Chabad of Sandton: A Playful, Nurturing Home for Young Jewish Learners

Chabad of Sandton is a unique playschool and nursery school famous for being passionate about learning through play. We base our curriculum on encouraging children to develop a sense of self in our nurturing environment. We promote a culture of family, encouraging close communication between home and school. Situated in a tranquil suburb in Sandton, we welcome all Jewish children, regardless of affiliation, from ages 18 months to six years old (Playschool through to Grade R).

Our Philosophy

We do our best to ensure that each child in our school has a joyful early learning experience, which will lead to a positive attitude towards future learning and education. We focus on character-building, social emotional learning, multi-sensory, hands-on and interactive learning.

Children leave our school emotionally, socially and academically well prepared for primary school. Our School has embraced the Conscious Discipline approach with the certainty that this philosophy plays a central role in promoting childrens’ social and emotional development and life long skills of self regulation.

We nurture and develop faith and trust in Hashem. School days are enriched with Davening, Shabbat rings, Parsha stories and Chagim. We regularly find ways to inculcate the most vital appreciation for Tzedakah (Charity).
